The selection of the successor to Iran's deceased Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has faced problems. 

Modern.az reports that at least 8 members of Iran's Assembly of Experts are boycotting today's emergency meeting in protest of the severe pressure exerted by IRGC to elect Mojtaba Khamenei as leader.

It should be recalled that 88 members of the Assembly of Experts vote in the selection of the Supreme Leader.
