Modern.az reports, citing TASS, that Svetlana Petrenko, spokesperson for the Russian Investigative Committee, stated this.

General Ruslan Salikov was detained within the framework of a criminal case related to the creation of a criminal organization.

The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case against the former First Deputy Minister of Defense, accusing him of creating a criminal organization whose members embezzled budget funds between 2017 and 2024, as well as of "money laundering and bribery".
