War with Iran will cause a global food crisis.

Modern.az reports that the "Financial Times" publication has published an article on this matter.

The article notes that the disruptions caused by the war are not limited to the oil and gas industry. The Middle East is one of the world's largest fertilizer producers, and the Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime export route.

Approximately 35% of global urea exports pass through this waterway. This route also accounts for 45% of global sulfur exports.

If these disruptions continue, consumers could face higher bread prices within six to ten weeks, higher egg prices within a few months, and higher pork and chicken prices within six months.
