As a result of a precise strike carried out by the Israeli army in Tehran, Ali Asghar Hejazi, deputy head of the office of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, has been killed.
Modern.az reports that "Sky News" disseminated information about this, citing Israeli sources.
According to the information, Hejazi was considered one of the most influential figures in Khamenei's inner circle. He oversaw security matters in the Supreme Leader's office, was responsible for the protection of the residence, and coordinated relations with various branches of state administration. Israeli media also reported that he was on the list of Khamenei's potential successors.
The Israel Defense Forces announced that on Friday, more than 400 targets were struck in Iranian territory. Among the targets were ballistic missile launch facilities and sites where unmanned aerial vehicles were stored.
