Hezbollah, the armed and political organization of Lebanon, has warned residents of a city located in northern Israel. The group issued an appeal to the population of Kiryat Shmona, a city located near the Lebanese border, urging them to leave the area for security reasons.
Modern.az reports that a statement issued by “Hezbollah” indicated that civilians living in the city must urgently leave the region and head towards more southern areas of Israel due to possible military operations and attack risks. The group noted that the likelihood of military confrontation is increasing amidst the escalating situation in the border region.
The information emphasizes that the warning was issued with the aim of ensuring the safety of the civilian population. Furthermore, such calls indicate a further escalation of tension in the region and an increased risk of confrontation on the Lebanon–Israel border.
