The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (SEPAH) responded to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian's statement that the country would not carry out an attack against states in the Persian Gulf region.
Modern.az reports that in a statement issued by the military p, it was noted that the president's position was incorrect.
SEPAH representatives stated that a few hours after the head of state's words, targets located in the cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi were struck.
“President Pezeshkian was mistaken in saying that attacks on neighboring countries would not occur, and our armed forces clearly demonstrated this. In a state of war, do not pay attention to Pezeshkian's statements,” it was noted in SEPAH's statement.
It should be recalled that Pezeshkian had previously stated that Iran had no intention of carrying out military strikes against neighboring countries.
