The Trump administration is expected to soon request additional funding to continue the operation. According to initial Pentagon estimates, military expenditures could reach 1 billion dollars per day, and the White House predicts this will last four to six weeks.
Iran, in turn, has adopted a strategy to prolong the conflict and aims to make it as costly as possible for its adversary. This strategy has been codenamed "Operation Madman". Tehran hopes that the US and Israel will eventually be forced to cease fighting.
