The inauguration ceremony of Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei will be held on March 9. The event will take place in Tehran and will start at 15:00 local time (14:30 Moscow time).
Modern.az reports that the Fars news agency has disseminated information about this.
The ceremony will be held in Revolution Square in the center of the capital. No additional information about the event has been provided.
Previously, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian had sent a congratulatory letter to the country's new Supreme Leader. In the message, he called the election of the son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei an expression of the will of all Iranian people and an indicator of their unity.
