Iran has once again launched a ballistic missile towards Turkey.
Modern.az reports that the Turkish Ministry of National Defense issued a statement regarding this.
It was stated that the ballistic missile launched from Iran was neutralized by NATO air and missile defense elements deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean.
It was noted that after the threat was neutralized in the air, missile fragments fell on empty areas in Gaziantep. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the incident.
"Turkey attaches great importance to good neighborly relations and regional stability. However, we reiterate that all necessary steps will be taken decisively and without hesitation against any threat directed at our country's territory and airspace. It is crucial to heed Turkey's warnings on this matter," the Turkish Ministry of National Defense stated.
