Head of the Turkish Presidential Administration's Directorate of Communications Burhaneddin Duran made a post on his social media account regarding Iran's latest missile attack targeting Turkey.
Modern.az reports that he emphasized that Turkey's will and capability to protect its airspace and border security are at the highest level.
Duran stated that the incident was closely monitored by all institutions from the outset and that necessary defense and security measures were immediately implemented, and conveyed that all relevant units, especially the Ministry of National Defense, acted in full coordination within this framework:
"Our state's will and capability to protect Turkey's airspace and border security are at the highest level. It is extremely important to prevent further escalation of tension in the region and the spread of conflicts to a wider area. We warn all parties, especially Iran, to refrain from actions that threaten regional security and endanger civilians. During this process, we call on our citizens and media organizations to be sensitive to unverified content that may cause panic and disinformation, and to rely only on statements issued by our official authorities".
