Modern.az reports that this was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan after the Cabinet meeting.

According to him, Turkey's borders are protected by 60,000 military personnel.

"On March 4, a missile launched from Iran and directed towards Turkey after crossing Iraqi and Syrian airspace was neutralized by NATO. All protests regarding this have been conveyed to Iran. However, despite our sincere warnings, provocative steps that will complicate Turkey's friendship are still being taken. Problems that would cast a shadow on our long-standing history of neighborliness should not occur. We are against further bloodshed".
