It is reported that hundreds of people have lost their lives in various countries as a result of the ongoing war in the Middle East.

According to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, at least 1,230 people have died in the country so far. Among the deceased are 175 schoolchildren and school staff who lost their lives on the first day of the war due to a missile strike on an elementary school in the city of Minab in the south of the country. The report does not specify whether military personnel of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are included in this figure.
The Iranian army, separately, reported that at least 104 people died last week when a US submarine sank an Iranian warship near the coast of Sri Lanka. It is noted that these casualties are not included in the Red Crescent's overall statistics.
Lebanon's Ministry of Health announced that at least 394 people, including 83 children, have died in the country as a result of Israeli strikes.
The Israeli army, meanwhile, reported that two soldiers were killed in Southern Lebanon. These are considered the first military casualties in the renewed fighting after “Hezbollah” attacked Israel with Iran's support. It is also reported that 11 civilians have died in Israel. Nine of them lost their lives on March 1 during an Iranian missile strike on the city of Beit Shemesh near Jerusalem.
According to the US army, 7 American servicemen have died during anti-Iranian operations.
In Iraq, according to police and health authorities, at least 15 people have died. On March 5, a commander of the “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” organization, which unites Iranian-backed armed groups, was also killed as a result of an airstrike on his vehicle.
In Syria, on February 28, 4 people died as a result of an Iranian missile hitting a building in the city of Suwayda.
Casualties have also been recorded in the Gulf countries. Kuwait announced 5 deaths, the United Arab Emirates 4, and Saudi Arabia 2. Bahrain and Oman each reported 1 death.
