Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation with his American counterpart Donald Trump.
Modern.az reports that Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov informed about this.
According to Ushakov, the conversation, which lasted approximately one hour, took place in a businesslike, open, and constructive atmosphere. The leaders mainly discussed the conflict around Iran and the topic of trilateral talks in the Russia–US–Ukraine format.
It was noted that the previous phone conversation between the heads of state had taken place in December 2025.
