US President Donald Trump answered a question regarding an airstrike in the city of Minab, Iran, which resulted in the death of 175 schoolgirls.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that he denied that US forces attacked the school and stated that the “Tomahawk” missile found in the area belonged to another country:
"The Tomahawk” is a very common weapon". The US President stated that he saw no evidence of his country's involvement in the incident and indicated that the missile could belong to another country - including Iran.
However, the local New York Times newspaper suggests that the remnants of the missile that destroyed the school in Minab belonged to the US and that the attack was mistakenly carried out during an assault on an IRGC naval base near the school.
