NATO's "Patriot" Air Defense System has been deployed in Turkey's Malatya city.

Modern.az, citing Turkey's Ministry of National Defense, reports that amid rising tensions in the region, the NATO Patriot air and missile defense system has been deployed in Malatya.

According to the information, the system is being prepared for combat readiness to strengthen the defense of Turkish airspace.

Ankara emphasized that Turkey is coordinating with NATO and allied countries, closely monitoring the situation, and will continue to take measures to ensure regional stability.

It should be recalled that until now, 2 ballistic missiles have been fired from Iran towards Turkey.
