A search has been declared for Aleksandr Sargsyan, the brother of former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. The court has issued a decision for his arrest.
Modern.az reports that information regarding this was provided by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.
According to the institution's information, a public criminal prosecution has been initiated against Aleksandr Sargsyan under Article 46-256, Part 3, Clause 3 (incitement to embezzlement of entrusted property) of the Criminal Code of Armenia. This article provides for a penalty of up to 8 years of imprisonment.
