In Isfahan, Iran, a historical monument from the Safavid period was damaged as a result of air attacks. 

Modern.az reports that some parts of the Chehel Sotoun Palace complex, located near the Isfahan Governorate and built during the reign of Shah Abbas II, have been destroyed.

Furthermore, reports have been circulated about damage and destruction occurring around the magnificent Naqsh-e Jahan Square, which is included in UNESCO's World Heritage List, containing the Ali Qapu Palace and a number of historical mosques.
