General Dan Kane, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, answered journalists' questions regarding Iran.

According to Modern.az, he stated in his declaration that Iranian forces are fighting, and he respects that.

“They are fighting, and I respect that. But I do not think they are a more serious adversary than we initially anticipated,” the general noted.

General Dan Kane added that US forces continue operations against Iran's military capabilities.

According to him, US military personnel continue to strike the Iranian Navy and its capabilities, particularly to ensure free and continuous movement through the Strait of Hormuz.

At the same time, the US Central Command is conducting operations against vessels involved in laying naval mines.

The general stated that the parties are trying to adapt tactically:

“The Iranians are adapting – and so are we. But we are adapting faster than them.”

According to him, US B-2 bombers have struck Iran's underground missile bases and facilities related to the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.

The general also noted that since the beginning of the war, the number of missile launches from Iran has decreased by 90 percent, and attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles have fallen by 83 percent.
