US Secretary of Defense Pit Hegset stated that Russia should not interfere in the conflict with Iran.
Modern.az reports that his comment was made after a question regarding President Donald Trump's telephone conversation yesterday with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Hegset called the conversation a "decisive call" and expressed hope that it confirmed "the possibility of achieving peace in Russia's war with Ukraine."
He added that the call also reinforced "the understanding that Russia should not interfere in this conflict."
