Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Modern.az reports that the Kremlin's press service released information about this.
It was stated that the Russian and Iranian presidents discussed the situation in the Middle East.
Putin reaffirmed Russia's position in favor of a rapid de-escalation of the conflict. Pezeshkian, in turn, thanked Moscow for its support and humanitarian aid.
It should be noted that this was Putin's second phone conversation with the Iranian president within a week.(APA)
