Several employees of the Russian consulate in Iran were injured as a result of a bomb explosion.

Modern.az reports that this was announced by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

According to her, on March 8, the Russian consulate building in Isfahan was attacked. The blast wave that occurred during the attack on the consulate building caused injuries to several people. There were no fatalities or serious injuries as a result of the incident.
