There are 15 Turkish-owned ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure.
Uraloğlu noted that they are in constant contact with all crews and personnel of the ships:
"They are currently at a waiting point. They are experiencing some concerns simply because they are there. However, there is no problem in meeting their needs. We are closely monitoring the situation. If the congestion in the Strait of Hormuz decreases, we hope to be able to get them out of there as well."
In response to a question about whether any attacks or damage had occurred to the ships in the area, Uraloğlu replied: "Not currently. None of our citizens, ships, or aircraft have been affected."
