Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed General Pavel Konovalchik from the post of Assistant Secretary of the Security Council.
Modern.az reports that the decree was published on the Legal Acts Portal of the Russian Federation.
Konovalchik is a member of the team of Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu. He previously served in the Ministry of Defense under Shoigu's leadership and, according to some reports, headed the information operations forces. Konovalchik joined the Security Council shortly after Shoigu's new appointment, in July 2024.
