Secretary of Iran's National Security Council Ali Larijani addressed US President Donald Trump at a demonstration dedicated to Quds Day in Tehran.
Modern.az reports that, according to Larijani, Trump does not understand that the Iranian people are mature, strong, and determined.
“The greater the US pressure, the stronger the will of the people."
Larijani called on Trump to refrain from war.
At the protest march in Tehran, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Head of the Judiciary Gholamhossein Ejei, Head of the National Police Sardar Ahmadreza Radan, Director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami, and Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzaneh Sadegh were also present.
Meanwhile, Iranian media reported several powerful explosions in central Tehran after the Israeli army issued an evacuation warning for some parts of the Iranian capital.
According to the information, explosion sounds were heard in the city center in the areas of Revolution Square, Ferdowsi Square, and Hijab Street.
Today, large-scale demonstrations are being held in Iranian cities to commemorate Quds Day. In Tehran, protesters took to the streets despite warnings.
