Leaders of G7 countries have called on US President Donald Trump to cease operations against Iran as soon as possible due to economic losses resulting from restrictions on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
Modern.az reports that "Axios" disseminated information about this, citing its sources.
According to the source, during a telephone conversation on March 11, G7 leaders emphasized the importance of shipping lanes through the Strait of Hormuz being "as safe as possible, as soon as possible."
Trump, in turn, stated that the situation in the strait was improving and that commercial vessels would soon be able to pass through it.
