The Israeli Air Force (IAF) has commenced a new series of airstrikes on Tehran, the capital of Iran.
Modern.az reports that the press service of the Israel Defense Forces released information regarding this.
The statement noted that the targets of the attack were government buildings located in the city.
Shortly thereafter, Iran's "Tasnim" agency confirmed a series of explosions in several districts of Tehran. The sounds of air defense systems firing are heard in the city. According to the publication, the explosions were recorded in the central and northern parts of Tehran; however, there is currently no information regarding the extent of the damage.
