Mohsen Rezaei, former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council, stated that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed and no American vessel will be allowed to enter the Persian Gulf.

According to Mohsen Rezaei, the presence of the US in the Persian Gulf has been the main source of instability over the past 50 years.
"True security can only be achieved when the US withdraws from the Persian Gulf and regional countries take control of the Strait of Hormuz. It is within our power to end the war," Rezaei said.
The Iranian official emphasized that the war will end when Iran receives full compensation from the US and secures comprehensive guarantees for its future.
"It is not possible to secure our future without the US withdrawing from the Persian Gulf. Iran has won the war and undermined US dominance. After the war, Iran will be different from before, and its position in the region will be strengthened," he added.
