A strong earthquake occurred on Turkey's Mediterranean coast.

Modern.az reports that the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of Turkey (AFAD) issued a statement regarding this.

According to the information, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.8. The epicenter of the earthquake, which occurred around 09:46 local time, was recorded in the Mediterranean Sea, and its hypocenter was at a depth of 15 kilometers.

No information has been received regarding casualties or damage.
