Modern.az, citing Iranian media, reports that the strikes were carried out in the morning hours by the Israeli Air Force based on intelligence information. The airstrike targeted the Iranian regime's intelligence command center, located in the same complex as the Iranian Electric Power Company in the center of Tehran.
The Israeli side stated that the Iranian authorities locate their command centers in civilian facilities and that they attempt to protect themselves from strikes by doing so.
However, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the strike on Tehran's energy hub was a deliberate strike on the country's infrastructure.
