In Iran, those accused of spying for the US and Israel will face the death penalty,
Modern.az reports that this was warned about by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Gholam Hossein Mohseni-Ejei.
"A court order has been issued regarding the confiscation and freezing of assets related to certain individuals cooperating with the aggressive regimes of the US and Israel. Another penalty stipulated in this clause is the death penalty. This will be applied as one of the legal punishments to those found guilty after the trial. We warn all elements attempting to threaten public security that if they try to create danger, they will face decisive legal measures. There will be no concessions," he stated.
It should be noted that on March 15, Iranian Police Chief General Reza Radan announced that law enforcement agencies have detained 500 people suspected of cooperating with the enemy since February 28.
