Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a video message to the people of Iran on the occasion of Novruz.
Modern.az reports that the holiday message was shared on the social media accounts of the Israeli Prime Minister's Office.
Netanyahu said in his message that this year's Novruz carries a special meaning:
“Brave people of Iran, as every year, I wish you a pleasant holiday season starting with the Festival of Lights.
This expresses the ancient belief of the Iranian people that light will triumph over darkness, and good over evil.
May this year be full of freedom. I wish you all a hopeful new beginning”.
