The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has confirmed the killing of Major General Gholamreza Soleimani, leader of the “Basij” paramilitary forces.
Modern.az reports that SNN TV channel disseminated information about this, citing the IRGC's press service.
It should be noted that the Israel Defense Forces had disseminated information that Gholamreza Soleimani, commander of the “Basij” forces, was also targeted during air strikes on Iran.
