Iran's attacks on the cities of neighboring countries are not our fault.

Modern.az reports that Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated.

"Attacks on the cities of neighboring countries are not our fault, but America's fault. They withdrew their forces from military bases and stationed them in hotels in cities. Overall, it is the behavior of the US that has brought the region to this situation. The US withdrew its forces from its military bases and stationed them in hotels in those cities. We did not limit ourselves only to the official bases of the enemies. Wherever American forces gathered, wherever they had facilities, they were targeted," A. Araqchi stated in an interview with "Al Jazeera".

Regarding the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, Araqchi stated that there should be a new protocol for passage in the waterway after the war:

"We must prepare new regulations for the Strait of Hormuz and for ships to pass through it in the future after the war, so that peaceful navigation through this waterway can be permanently maintained within clear rules."
