Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei sent a condolence message to President Masoud Pezeshkian regarding the killing of the country's intelligence minister, Esmail Khatib.

Mojtaba Khamenei stated in the message addressed to Pezeshkian that the absence of Esmail Khatib must be compensated by the greater efforts of other responsible officials and employees in a sensitive organization like the Ministry of Intelligence.
The Supreme Leader instructed that maximum attention should be paid to issues related to internal and external enemies while security operations are being carried out.
