According to preliminary information, a male passenger aged 50-55 fell onto the tracks as the train entered the platform.
It was reported that the train driver immediately applied the brakes, and an operational plan was implemented to remove the passenger from the tracks.
"We regret to inform that it was not possible to save the passenger's life. May God have mercy on him!", - the statement emphasized.

Modern.az reports that high voltage was immediately removed from the contact rail, and emergency medical services were called to the area.
After the high voltage was restored, the train departed without passengers and was sent from "Narimanov" station to the electric depot.
