A road-traffic accident occurred in Shamkir.
According to Moden.az, the incident was recorded in the section of the Baku-Gazakh highway passing through the district's territory.
Specifically, a moving "VAZ 21011" brand passenger car went out of control. As a result, the passenger car crashed into a concrete barrier on the roadside.
After the accident, the car was deformed. Firefighter-rescuers of the Shamkir District State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately dispatched to the area. Two people trapped in the car were removed by rescuers.
2 injured people were hospitalized. Their condition is reported to be moderately severe.
Police officers were dispatched to the scene of the incident. An investigation into the incident is underway.
