There is a possibility of a severe geomagnetic storm.

Regarding this, information was provided to Modern.az from the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after Nasreddin Tusi.

It was reported that Coronal Mass Ejections, formed as a result of a flare that occurred on the Sun on January 18, are expected to reach Earth on January 20.

In this regard, a strong geomagnetic storm is expected to occur.
