Information was received by the "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations regarding citizens being stranded in their cars in the city of Khankendi and the territory of Karkijahan settlement due to icy roads.
Modern.az reports, citing the ministry's website, that in connection with the information, firefighter-rescuers of the Khankendi City Fire Protection Unit of the State Fire Protection Service of the MES were immediately dispatched to the area.
By the firefighter-rescuers, the movement of a total of 4 passenger cars of “Honda" and "Toyota" brands, which were unable to continue their movement due to icy roads, was ensured, and appropriate assistance was provided to the citizens.
