Information was received by the "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations regarding a fire in the “Qobu Park” residential complex, located in Lokbatan settlement, Garadagh district, Baku city.
According to information provided to Modern.az by the Press Service of the MES, in connection with the report, forces of the State Fire Protection and Special Risky Rescue Services of the MES were immediately dispatched to the area.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of firefighters, the fire that occurred in the kitchen of an apartment located on the eighth floor of the residential building was extinguished in a short time, without allowing it to spread further, including to the apartment itself.
As a result of the fire, 3 linear meters of the kitchen furniture, the refrigerator, and the washing machine of a three-room apartment with a total area of 70 sq.m. were partially burned.
The apartment was protected from the fire.
No injuries were reported.
