Former head coach of the Russian national football team Boris Ignatyev has died at the age of 85.
Modern.az reports that his wife, Irina Ignatyeva, informed RIA Novosti about this.
She stated that Boris Ignatyev died from an illness related to cancer and heart problems.
“The funeral date has not yet been determined," Irina Ignatyeva said.
B. Ignatyev coached the Russian national team from 1996 to 1998 and was a member of the national team's coaching staff from 1992 to 1996.
