A terrible tragedy has occurred in the family of Azerbaijanis living in Dagestan.
Modern.az reports, citing Russian media, that Rajaddin Mahammadov, residing in Derbent, murdered his 36-year-old wife, Malvina Mahammadova, with whom he had a religious marriage. Subsequently, he dismembered his wife's p and hid it in a mountainous area near Calgan village.
Rajaddin, detained by the police, cited the 'Lada Priora' brand car given to his wife as a dowry as the motive for the murder. Specifically, Rajaddin sold the car, which was given to Malvina Mahammadova as a wedding gift, without her consent.
The woman filed a complaint with the police regarding the theft of the car and disappeared shortly thereafter.
After a six-day search, the woman's burned p was found in a village near Derbent.
