A fire broke out in a residential building located on Babek Avenue, Khatai district.
Modern.az reports that the Ministry of Emergency Situations disseminated information regarding this.
It was reported that forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) were immediately dispatched to the area in connection with the information.
Thanks to the swift intervention of firefighters, the fire that occurred in the electric meters installed in the stairwell on the 6th floor of the nine-story residential building was extinguished in a short time, preventing its spread, including to the apartments.
As a result of the fire, 10 electric meters and protective switches, and 2 linear meters of electrical wiring were burned.
Within the framework of safety measures, 7 people, including 3 minors, were evacuated by firefighters.
The apartments and the residential building were protected from the fire.
