A truck collided with a train in Qala settlement.
According to information provided to Modern.az by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the “112” hotline received information about a road traffic accident in Qala settlement, Khazar district, Baku city, and a citizen being trapped in a vehicle. In connection with the information, rescuers from the Special Risky Rescue Service of the MES were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon assessing the operational situation at the scene, it was determined that a road accident occurred as a result of a “Ford” brand truck colliding with a moving train, and the driver of the truck sustained injuries of varying degrees and remained trapped in the deformed vehicle.
Rescuers, with the help of special rescue tools, rescued citizen Soltanov Rovshan Adalat oglu, born in 1981, and handed him over to an emergency medical aid brigade.
In connection with the incident, an investigation is being conducted by relevant agencies.
