A road accident resulting in death occurred in Ismayilli.
The incident was recorded on the section of the Garamaryam–Ismayilli–Sheki highway passing through the village of Khanagah in the district.
According to Modern.az, in the chain collision that occurred as a result of a moving minivan and two passenger cars colliding, 33-year-old Umud Valiyev and his 23-year-old wife Narmin Valiyeva lost their lives at the scene. Six people, with injuries of varying degrees, were transported to Ismayilli District Central Hospital.
The Sheki regional group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that a criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and an investigation is underway.
