Modern.az reports that as a result of the underground tremors, destruction occurred mainly in Shamakhi and Agsu districts.
As a result of the incident, dangerous cracks appeared in houses and semi-constructed buildings collapsed in the villages of Bagirli, Ovculu, Chol Goylar, Dag Goylar, Charhan, Adnali, Nuydyu, Qushchu in Shamakhi, and in the villages of Langabiz, Qashad, Bijo, Kechdimaz, Gagali and other villages of Agsu district. Cracks were detected in dozens of houses in the aforementioned villages, and significant damage was caused to the population.
It should be recalled that on February 27 at 15:52 local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 occurred in Shamakhi district. The earthquake was felt close to 5 at the epicenter, and close to 3-4 in surrounding districts. (Oxu.az)
