The trial in the criminal case of the teenager accused of murdering his mother in a hotel was held.
Modern.az reports that today, the verdict was read out in the trial held at the Baku Court of Grave Crimes under the chairmanship of Judge Telman Huseynov. According to the verdict, the accused teenager A.Q. was sentenced to 7 years and 6 months of imprisonment.
It should be noted that it happened in August 2025 at the "Crossway" hotel located in the Baku International Bus Terminal Complex. On the grounds of an intra-family conflict, A.Q., born in 2009, murdered his mother Ə.Q., born in 1989, by stabbing her several times. He went to Gazakh district and voluntarily surrendered to the police.
He was charged under Article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code.
