Foreign citizens stranded in a mountainous area in Khizi were rescued.
Information regarding this was provided to Modern.az by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It was reported that information was received by the "112" hotline about 3 people being stranded in a car in a helpless situation in a mountainous area near Fındığan village of Khizi district due to heavy rainfall.
In connection with the information, firefighter-rescuers of the Siyəzən District Fire Protection Unit of the State Fire Protection Service of the MES were immediately dispatched to the call.
When the operational situation was assessed at the scene, it was found that a "Toyota Prado" brand passenger car, containing 3 foreign citizens, had gone off the road and got stuck in the mud, leaving the citizens in a helpless situation.
The rescuers evacuated the citizens to a safe area using a special purpose vehicle.
