On March 18, information was received by the district prosecutor's office regarding the deaths of Ceyhun Agasiyev, born in 1966, and Gülgəz Agasiyeva, born in 1970, in Zizik village, Quba district.
Regarding this, information was provided to Modern.az by the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office.
It was noted that investigations carried out identified reasonable suspicions that Ceyhun Agasiyev committed suicide after intentionally killing Gülgəz Agasiyeva.
Regarding the incident, a criminal case has been initiated at the Quba district prosecutor's office under Articles 120.1 (intentional homicide) and 125 (incitement to suicide) of the Criminal Code.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
