Changes have occurred in the squad of the Azerbaijani national team.
Modern.az , referring to AFFA's official website, reports that midfielders Khayal Aliyev and Shahin Shahniyarov have joined the U-21 team squad.
In their place, Rustam Ahmadzada ("Sumgayit") and Abdulla Khaybulayev ("Sabah") have been called up to the main national team.
It should be noted that on September 9, the Azerbaijani national team will face Ukraine in the DÇ-2026 qualifying round, while the U-21 team will face the Bulgarian national team in the European Championship qualifying round. Both matches will take place in Baku.
