Azerbaijan's international football referee Aliyar Aghayev has been appointed to a UEFA Champions League main stage match.
Modern.az reports that the FIFA referee will officiate the first-round match between “Copenhagen” of Denmark and “Bayer” of Germany, to be held on September 18 in Denmark.
His assistants will be Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amirali, and the fourth official for the match will be Elchin Masiyev.
It should be noted that the match will start at 20:45 Baku time.
